This is a very unique freestanding PVC dummy at a fraction the cost of the traditional wooden dummy. Instead of a support frame or freestanding tripod legs, this dummy harkens back to the original "staked" dummies of ancient China and is posted into a block of solid concrete.

To save on weight, your Bucket Dummy will be shipped with everything you need except the concrete base. Included with your dummy are instructions for filling the included Pan Base with ready-mix concrete or cement for a very solid, stable base. Mixing concrete or cement is a very easy task which doesn't require much instruction. (Actual weight of pan for shipment is 9-lbs, but because of pan size, UPS charges dimensional weight for this item which comes to 42-lbs billable weight. Total shipping weight for this dummy is 110-lbs billable weight. Still, it's a lot cheaper than sending a pan full of concrete at 250-lbs.)(We do allow the option of purchasing your own 12" x 22" round pan.)

This smaller footprint will support the same amount of force as our tripod-mounted or traditional stand-mounted dummy. The weight of the concrete base provides stability for moderate to severe type force. This configuration is perfect where space is at a premium, or if you're looking for a great dummy at a minimum price.

The Bucket Dummy comes with a 60" PVC body, three solid hardwood arms, and an adjustable steel leg. The Schedule 40 white PVC trunk is 3/8" thick and almost 8-3/4" in diameter. The arms are made from laminated oak. The leg is 14 gauge tubular steel. Total shipping weight including body, arms and legs is about 110-lbs. Diameter of base pan is 22". Total weight of dummy, arms, and steel leg with concrete level (9.5") seen in picture is 270-lbs. Compact. Fits very well in any corner of the room. By offsetting the dummy in the base, their is ample room for practicing footwork when angling back towards the dummy without concern about kicking into the base. Height adjustments can be done by simply adding half blocks or by arranging bricks under the dummy trunk before the concrete or cement is poured to reach the desired height.

Steel Core Laminated Kicking Leg Customize your PVC Dummy by adding a high quality steel core laminated wood leg. These legs are composed of a steel core with a laminated wood veneer. Unless otherwise specified, we will stain the leg to match all of the other wood elements of your dummy.

Purpleheart Dummy Arms
Purpleheart (Peltogyne) is native to tropical regions of Central and South America. The trees are prized for their beautiful heartwood which, when cut, quickly turns from a dark brown to a rich purple color. The dry wood is very hard and dense with a specific gravity of 0.86 (54 lb/ft^3 or 860 kg/m^3).

Cocobolo Dummy Arms
Cocobolo is a hardwood from Central America. It is a very beautiful wood, known to change color after being cut. The heartwood is typically orange or reddish-brown in color, often with a figuring of darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. Due to its density and hardness, Cocobolo can be polished to a lustrous, glassy finish.
